Daily Lie (chapter 1)My daughter, Nova slammed the door behind her after getting home from school. I was in the kitchen preparing dinner for the night when I heard it; my reaction was to scold her about being gentle with it before she breaks it. I put down the spoon for the pasta.Daily Lie (chapter 1) by Maggi399
I walked to the hallway, where the gray filly with a dark purple and black mane stood. “Nova, what have I-“. I stopped as I soon saw tears dripped down her face. “Nova, is everything alright?
Nova avoided eye contact; she stared at the wooden floor. “I don’t want to talk about It.” She said, as she ran past me and up the stairs to her room, giving it another slam. “Not this again”. I thought as I climbed up the stairs. My daughter was always a “Late Bloomer” to put it nicely, problems at school must be getting worse.
“Nova sweetie, are you alright?” I knocked on her door.
“Go away”. Nova yelled, part crying, through the door. I expected tha

“I’m withdrawing my application, ma’am.”
Spitfire had heard a number of phrases uttered in her offices at the Wonderbolts Academy, but this was one phrase that rarely reached her ears. She was fresh from having qualified Cloudsdale for the Relay Race in the upcoming Equestria Games, and had expected to return to her offices to praise and cheers, not to a young officer holding an application in her office and declaring that she was withdrawing it. “You care to explain yourself…?” she briefly glanced at the rank insignias on the mare’s uniform before continuing, “…Lieutenant…?”
“Sunrunner, ma’am. And I don’t think I need to explain myself. I’m withdrawing my application to join the Wonderbolts.”
Spitfire looked over the mare before her. She was well-built for a pegasus racer, with a light amber coat and cyan eyes, her crimson and yellow man
Sleep TherapyShe'd liked to have blamed it on the fact that she was sleeping in a new room, in a new bed. She could, if she wanted to, come up with all kinds of psychological reasons why it was taking her so long to adjust to her new bedroom in the Friendship Rainbow Kingdom Castle after having spent years sleeping in the now former Golden Oaks library, which could turn into a lecture that would bore most of her friends and new subjects to sleep.Sleep Therapy by PonyJosiah13
But Princess Twilight Sparkle knew that the reason she was having trouble sleeping wasn't the new surroundings, the new bed (which, despite seemingly made of crystals, was surprisingly comfortable and boasted sheets that were so soft and cozy that they would make a Saddle Arabian weaver jealous).
It was everything associated with it.
Somehow, she'd been okay with being a princess, so long as she still lived out of the library, could walk normally among the other ponies...so long as she could live a relatively normal life. Of course, there

I am Scootaloo! It was a delightful day in the forest, Safan, the young orange filly felt as if she were free from her troubles. Limping around happily, feeling glad there was an outside to her dark world...I am Scootaloo! by Summer-Niights
It all started, the day they found out; found out the disorder that the young Pegasus had.
When Safan was born her mother, Cloud Crackle, and her father, Startone seemed pleased, but they didn't really care much for Safan herself, just the fact that she was like them, a Pegasus pony, who had wings.
But one horrible day, when Safan was old enough to fly; she woke up that day on a very high mountain, with her mother, father and two older brothers.
"Mother, what are we doing here on this mountain?" Safan asked.
Her mother: Cloud Crackle, glared at her with a frown. "My silly little baby, you should really know why we are all here. Today is the day you learn how to take to the sky."
Safan's face dropped. "Mother am I going to be flying off of this mountain?"
Cloud Crackle patted her back hard "Yes Saf

Luna ran to her sister now lying on the grass just at the top of the hill. Her body badly burned. She put her hoofs on her sister and shook her trying to wake her. “Sister, please wake up!” yelled Luna, tears now running down her cheeks. She looked up at the sky now gray. Not a minute ago it seemed like such a beautiful day with only a few clouds scattered around until the lightning came down. It hit her sister deliberately, as if it were aiming for her. And now here she lays, her coat more gray that white, Eyes closed. Luna laid her head on her sister chest. She prayed for a heartbeat. To tell her that her sister would be ok, but she heard nothing. Luna jumped up and franticly looked around for somepony to help. She could barely see anything for it had now become foggy. “Help!” she screamed, “anypony please!” She listened for a response that somepony had heard her, but all she heard was the light sound
